My first thought was that you are easily one of the more artistic avs authors in the community, which is something which I find not only refreshing, but also value greatly. Sure, I can make a preset; you make art. This is one reason why I am a bit hesitant to release my pack-- in my opinion, it yields no artistic value. However I may release it only on the thought that it will finally be put behind me and I can move ahead.

Anyway, this is a wonderful pack. I was really pleased to log on and find this surprise in my messages. To keep it simple, I will just say again that this is a great pack, and give it a favorite. Keep up the great work, bud. :)

mmm... very nice, and somewhat unepected

I'm not too keen on the kelaidoscopic presets (Citrus Love 3, Speeding) and the somewhat generic flows (Preset 14,Stereotype) , but other than that the presets are nice.

favorites:
Buttoning Revisited - abstract and colourful
Spin sugar - reminds me of zamuz, the spinning is just a little too fast but the style and colours are v nice
Time winter - It would be even nicer if the scopes changed from blue to orange themselves
Illusicube - I'm afraid I wasnt fooled but its still a nice preset, the music response is fairly good, the colours are a tad harsh though
Metropolitan Summer - The colours are very nice and so is the zooming (although it has some awkward aliasing)

You were obviously very pleased with "The City At Night" but for me it isnt really very interesting, the 'lights' on the buildings are distributed to randomly, and the building skyline doesnt really provide a fitting overlay to the sparkly starfield. Plus it contains one of my pet hates, an intro for no reason, can people PLEASE stop putting these in their presets, I want to watch the preset not sit through unnecessary preamble [/rant]

Generally a nice pack, some more music response would be nice and maybe less of the 'look I can do this!'

fear not, rs iv will be released in december OMFG (btw it's no way near as colourful as this one)

i hate having to leave comments so i'll just fave this one...ok?

Honestly, I really admire you and your comment. They will surely make me a better AVS artist. Sorry about me saying too much 'look what i can do' because I really still am a n00b, and to do what I did at my level of coding knowledge, I'm pretty proud of what I did. Although it may not appeal to you, I'll definitely strive to make sure that next time it will.

Thanks for your comment. :)

It's no wonder this pack is called "coloring", it isn't for naught im happy to notice :) You posses some of the best color manipulation skills i've seen since ~degnic and that's a lot. Im also glad personally that you didn't went for the "edgy & rough" style in your presets. I somewhat concur with pak-9 about the music response, but i think i had less of a problem with it than him, still might be something you want to concentrate more on the future.

As far as my favourites go, they include Citrus Love 3 (mmm, smooth), Rotaspire (very original look in my opinion and the layers at work here are just wonderful), Speeding (been a while since i've saw a good or even a decent kaleidoscope preset, nice one  ), Overproduced Concept (although texer 1 doesn't have resizing particles to make it 100% fit for every resolution, it seems to work like it should on mine :) anyway, lovely colors of course and i quite dig the line background even if doesn't score points on the originality factor.), Wunderframe (though you could've boosted it quite a bit if you had taken advantage of codable effect lists, basicly everything before the first dm could've been rendered only once on startup), Time Winter (it feels winter:ish to me and im from Finland ;)), Illusicube (clever discovery! Id even be as bold as saying that it's right up to par with nemo's building blocks! The fading out color work is quite neat too, i like it a lot  )

From the remixes i really liked Paprika And Spices, the fadeout trick leaves a pretty cool image behind

All in all a great pack, well deserving a :+fav: in my opinion.

Oh and i hope to see the "secret" project too in the future :D
